Contractors are independent, so raise problems with the work, the price or the crew with the contractor first. If that does not settle it, the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs takes complaints about home improvement contractors online at njconsumeraffairs.gov or at 1-800-242-5846. You can also tell this site about a contractor you had a bad experience with.
